Domaine Melody, l'Exception 2022

In 2010, friends Marc Romak, Marlène Durand and Denis Larviere joined forces to create Domaine Melody and showcase their 20ha of organic vineyards in the storied north Rhone region of Crozes-Hermitage. Domaine Melody is a winery combining tradition and modernity, working to offer elegant, fruity and structured wines, full of finesse and frankness. l'Exception 2022 is a wonderfully floral, mineral blend of 70% Marsanne and 30% Roussanne. The grapes were harvested from 10 year old vines, and spent 8 months maturing in a mixture of stainless steel and old oak prior to bottling. A nose of white peach, green apple and honey leads to a dry, minerally palate with further notes of white blossom, lemon and pear. A superb wine to pair with pork.
